Work and corporate culture in Iceland as seen by Poles

In the economical dimension, an indication of the successful “entry” into the host society is given by competence in dealing with the labor market, and acceptance of the hosts' work ethic. This was the subject of this chapter, which describes the Icelandic work ethic – the extent to which it differs from the Polish, whether it is accepted by Polish workers, what Poles find annoying in the Icelandic way of working, and what they find likable and would like to see adopted in Poland.
